Well kids we’re announcing that we’ll be drawing from the bin at the December 13th City Council meeting and we want to encourage you to attend in the Council Chamber at the city building on Donham Plaza. The event will be televised live as we draw the winner of the Sony Playstation 3. Middletownians can attend or watch live via TV Middletown Channel 24 if you have Time Warner Cable. We’ll also announce the winner here on the Santa Parade website as soon as the name is drawn so see you on December 13th.

Santa Claus is coming to town

Posted on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in Featured, news

It’s almost here! The 2011 Home For The Holidays Santa Parade will roll into downtown Middletown this Saturday, November 26th. At 4 p.m. the parade will begin with dancers, floats, musicians and more heralding the arrival of that jolly old saint himself. Join us along the parade route stretching from Broad and Second St. right into the heart of Middletown at Broad and Central. Bring the kids for an exciting annual event that will help everyone to get into the Holiday spirit.

Parade theme decided

Posted on Sunday, September 25, 2011 in news

This year the Home For The Holidays Santa Parade theme will be “I Still Believe”. The theme will allow float designers, actors and performers to arrive at their own design based on the idea. The SP Committee chose the theme after their recent meeting and are encouraging all participants to take part.

Stay tuned for more details and be sure to fill out our parade application if you’re interested in participating this year. We already have applicants filling out their forms and planning and want to encourage you to do so as well and as soon as possible to ensure inclusion.
